Dry techniques

• Apply colour and blend using your fingertip, a cotton bud, or paper wiper to create colour gradients.

Watercolour technique

• Gelatos produce beautiful washes when mixed with water.
• Apply colour and moisten it with a wet brush.

Liquid colours

• Gelatos produce beautiful washes when mixed with water.
• You could also dissolve a piece of Gelato in water and use it as a colour spray.

Stamping

• Gelatos work brilliantly with stamps. Moisten the stamp, apply colour with the Gelato and press onto the surface.
